Fleur East will be ‘stingy’ on Mother’s Day

Fleur East will be "stingy" with her Mother’s Day gift.
The 29-year-old singer has confessed that whilst she will be spoiling her beloved mother Irene to mark the occasion, she will be sharing the gift with her younger sister Keshia.
Speaking about her Mother’s Day plans to BANG Showbiz at WE Day, Fleur said: "My mum’s lucky because her birthday is on Friday so she’s got Mother’s Day on Sunday so double celebration for her.
"Me and my sister we are going to be stingy and do a joint gift for both things, [but] we’re going to spoil her."
Meanwhile, Fleur has no doubt been busy in the studio as she previously revealed she has been working on new material.
She told BANG Showbiz previously: "You are going to hear it [new music] when I’m ready. I’m literally just in the studio working on it, when I come back I want to make sure everything is perfect.
"It’s definitely still going to be up-tempo, high energy, something I can really perform to, feel-good music for sure. It’s naturally taken an evolution so it’s sounding more modern but still with a bit of a throwback vibe."
And Fleur cites Michael Jackson and her mother as big inspirations to her.
She added: "As a performer, Michael Jackson is a huge inspiration; even today I still listen to him and watch his performances on YouTube …
"I think in my life my mother is a big influence. She is someone who is very resilient, determined, no matter what knocks her down she just gets back up, she’s just so positive and she taught me to live that way so she’s a huge inspiration."
