Lauren Goodger was left looking "like a chipmunk" after undergoing laser treatment.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star sparked rumours she has had plastic surgery after she was spotted with a fuller face earlier this week, but the brunette beauty claims her change in appearance is down to a skin peel procedure she underwent while she was in the US last week.
Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: "While I was in LA, I had a mild CO2 laser procedure done to my face, but that’s it. It burns off the top layer of your skin so you develop new skin cells to make your face smoother, firmer and younger looking.
"I had it done around my eyes and mouth to bring out the natural collagen and the doctor warned me my face would stay puffy for up to two weeks afterwards.
"I looked like a chipmunk when I left the clinic, but it’s calmed down since."
The 28-year-old beauty – who has had a nose job and breast enhancing surgery – claims she’s never had Botox and insists her youthful looks are down to "good makeup"
She explained: ‘"I can assure you I haven’t had anything done – it’s just clever make-up."
