Cara Delevingne has penned her first novel.
The 24-year-old model is set to release a "twisty coming-of-age" story titled ‘Mirror Mirror’ in October this year, with the tale following a group of teenagers on their journey to discover themselves as they "navigate the minefield" of education and relationships.
The blonde beauty announced the news on social media with a picture of her leaning up against a mirror holding the final manuscript.
The post, which she shared on her Instagram account on Tuesday (14.03.17), was captioned: "Another pinch me moment!! Announcing my first novel Mirror, Mirror, coming out this October! SO EXCITED !!! Mirror, Mirror is a twisty coming-of-age story about sixteen year old friends Red, Leo, Naima and Rose who are all trying to figure out who they are and navigate the minefield of school and relationships. Until it all changes one day… (que scary music) I love these characters so much, I love what they stand for, what this story represents. (sic)."
Cara found the creative process of writing the text "life changing", because it is a project she holds "close to [her] heart".
She continued: "The process of putting this novel together has been life changing and something I hold really close to my heart!! (sic)."
And the ‘Paper Towns’ actress is eager to start a "big virtual book club" to encourage more people to read her book.
