Pamela Anderson: Playboy was my university

Pamela Anderson sees Playboy as her "university".
The model and activist has graced a number of covers for the American magazine and whilst she knows it was a huge part of her life, she feels she has "graduated with honours".
She said: "Playboy was my university, I always say – and I graduated with honours."
The 49-year-old star has struck up a close friendship with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who she thinks is "one of the most important people in the world".
Speaking to John Bishop on The Nightly Show on Thursday evening (09.03.17), she added: "I met him through Vivienne Westwood, who wanted us to meet. We started seeing each other every month, and now we see each other a lot more regularly.
"I do really think he’s one of the most important people in the world, and I think what he does is historic; it’s very important. He’s very brave and he sacrificed a lot for all of us, every civilian. He’s doing this for everybody; he’s exposed corruption and everyone has a right to know … He’s passionate about what he does and he’s brilliant, so stay tuned."
Meanwhile, Pamela previously admitted she is "flattered" by rumours she is dating Julian.
She said: "I ended up at the embassy on the wrong day but was able to meet with Julian privately. I asked him how he thought I could be more effective as an activist. We came up with tenure to support relentless activism – giving activists tenure and cover basic needs so that they continue their great work while being able to provide for themselves and their families wherever they may be in the world.
"Since then I feel a genuine closeness to Julian. I have had more stimulating conversation with this man than all my ex-husbands and lovers combined. Our intentions were not to become romantic, but to join forces. The rumours are flattering. I think I might have what it takes to be an effective First Lady. If I had to choose a World Leader to stand beside and support whole heartedly it would be Julian Assange."
