Ferne McCann wants to be pop star

Ferne McCann is recording her debut album in a bid to conquer the charts.
The 26-year-old reality star is desperate to follow in the footsteps of Rihanna and Katy Perry and become a pop star and has secretly laid down tracks in the studio in order to peruse her life-long dream of becoming a singer.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Ferne is a secret songstress. She has been in the recording studio recently and things are going really well.
"She recently played a bit of a swing version of ‘That’s Life’ that she has recorded and the reaction has been great. She is a lady of many hidden talents."
Ferne made her musical theatre debut in ‘The Great Gatsy’ when she starred as Myrtle Wilson in the run of the stage adaptation of the 1925 novel by F.Scott Fitzgerald.
However, the brunette beauty’s TV career has exploded since she took park in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2015 so if she impresses label bosses, it’s likely she’ll be forced to choose between pop star or TV queen.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said recently: "I would love to have my own spin off show. I would host my own show but I still feel like I’m finding my feet. Live TV is not easy. If you can present live TV then that’s half the battle."
And Ferne – who shot to fame on ‘The Only Way is Essex’ – has nothing but praise for the jungle show as she believes it’s responsible for her current success.
She explained: "There’s more TV work coming. I wouldn’t go back to ‘The Only Way is Essex’ now. The jungle is an amazing platform. I had the best time, it was an amazing opportunity but when I got back, my career exploded. You’ve got to put the work in. I have worked non-stop and have learnt the craft of presenting."
