Peter Andre has been drinking coffee to get through "sleepless nights" with his new baby.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker and fiancée Emily MacDonagh are doing their best to establish a routine for 11-week-old Amelia, and think their persistence is paying off as she is able to sleep for longer, though the singer is still relying on caffeine to get him through the day as he isn’t as rested as he would like to be.
Speaking in his weekly column written for New! magazine, he said: "My coffee machine is getting me through the sleepless nights with Amelia. She’s actually getting a lot better and some nights she sleeps for up to six hours. I think that’s because we haven’t been going out a lot and we’re focusing on our routine."
Peter – who also has eight-year-old son Junior and six-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii from his marriage to Katie Price – claims the latest addition to his brood is growing up fast, although he is not sure whether Amelia has taken on his own or her mother’s looks.
He explained: "All the kids are changing so rapidly, but I can really notice it with Amelia. Last week I was beginning to think she looked more like me but this week she definitely looks like Ems. Her eyes are bright blue."
Meanwhile, Peter revealed he will be making his own baby food when he weans the little girl.
He added: "We received a Babycook Duo blender from Béaba and we can’t wait to use it."
