Fearne Cotton presents Lorraine next week

Fearne Cotton is to present ‘Lorraine’ for a week while host Lorraine Kelly is in the Antarctic.
The ‘Celebrity Juice’ star is thrilled to have landed her first gig on the ITV daytime show, which will see her step in for the 57-year-old Scottish beauty from next Monday (13.03.17), whilst she has extended their trip to mark her 25th wedding anniversary with husband Steve Smith.
Fearne, 35, said: "It’s going to be such a fun week, I’m really looking forward to hosting the show while Lorraine enjoys her trip of her lifetime."
The show’s editor, Sue Walton commented: "I’m delighted that Fearne, such a popular and versatile broadcaster is presenting the show for a week.
"Fearne thrives on live, and her natural empathy, spontaneity, not forgetting her sense of fun will all shine through in what will be a special week of shows."
Fearne follows in the footsteps of Christine Lampard, who has hosted the show for the past two weeks, and Helen Skelton, who did the first week.
Lorraine was only meant to be on holiday for three weeks, but decided to extend her expedition.
The British broadcaster said she was feeling "reassured" that her show was in great hands before she left and promised to keep fans of the show updated on how her trip was going.
At the time, she said: "I’m so excited for what will definitely be a trip of a lifetime and I feel very reassured to know that the show is in such safe hands while I’m away.
"I’ll be keeping in touch from Antarctica throughout the journey and I look forward to sharing my adventure with Lorraine viewers when I get back!"
