Charlie Hunnam thinks sex is an ‘important part of fitness’

Charlie Hunnam believes sex is "important" to staying fit.
The 36-year-old actor has revealed his secret to staying in great shape is to have a "high fitness level", which he has achieved by undergoing regular workouts and by getting hot under the bed sheets "as often" as he possibly can.
Speaking about his fitness secrets in the April issue of Men’s Health, which the golden-haired hunk is on the cover of, he said: "Having a high fitness level across the board.
"I try to do it all. I also try to make love as often as I can. That’s an important part of fitness."
And the ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star is determined to maintain his fitness level for many more years to come because he desperately wants to be have the ability to "run up mountains" in 40 years time.
He continued: "There’s no reason you can’t be active at 70. I want to run up mountains at that age."
And Charlie enjoys the buzz from the endorphins after an intense work out because he is left feeling "happier, more positive" and "disciplined" afterwards instead of angry and tense.
The Newcastle-born hunk – who has been dating jewellery designer Morgana McNelis for 10 years – explained: "The way I grew up, if you want to talk s**t, talk s**t to someone’s face and be prepared to fight.
"We are supposed to be very active animals. It’s our DNA. Sweating is how I change my oil every day. I just feel happier, more positive, energized, and disciplined if I work out."
However, the British star has hinted he exercises "a lot every day" because he is "f***ing crazy".
He said: "I train a lot every day because I’m f–king crazy."
