Ray J’s ‘Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood TV show to air in UK

Ray J’s television show ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ is set to hit UK screens this year.
The 36-year-old rapper won over the hearts of the nation earlier this year when he starred on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ for just over a week until he left the infamous abode to receive treatment for a tooth abscess and was denied re-entry by bosses.
Now his hit US series – which follows the lives of the young hip-hop elite of Hollywood as they fight to make it in Tinseltown – is heading to UK screens for the first time on 4Music.
He said: "My time in the UK was over way too soon. I’m thankful that ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ is, at last, coming to British screens so fans can see just some of my journey so far. It’s quite a ride, so hold on! And don’t worry UK, I’ll be back."
The television series, which was first filmed in 2014, also follows Ray J’s wife Princess Love.
The hunk – who saw his career catapult when him and his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian West’s sex tape leaked online in 2007 – wed the budding fashion designer last year, and was spotted in London alongside him following his premature ‘CBB’ departure.
Consisting of 12 drama-filled episodes, viewers will follow the ups and downs of the friendships, love affairs and work partnerships of this Hollywood crew.
Season two and three will follow immediately on 4Music after season one airs.
Season one will launch on March 14 at 9pm and will feature a number of hip-hop stars; including Grammy-nominated rapper Soulja Boy as well as Fizz and Omarion.
