Ed Sheeran to headline Glastonbury?

Ed Sheeran has hinted he’s headlining Glastonbury 2017.
The 26-year-old singer/songwriter – who dropped his critically-acclaimed album ‘Divide’ last week after going on hiatus for a year in 2016 – was quizzed on whether he is the third and final headliner at the legendary music extravaganza held at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England in June, joining Foo Fighters and Radiohead, and didn’t deny the rumours he is to take to the iconic Pyramid Stage.
Appearing on Radio X on Tuesday (07.03.17), he responded: "I … don’t know yet. It’s one of them things where I would like to be asked before they announce it but yeah."
And the ‘Castle on the Hill’ hitmaker quickly changed the subject hinting he would be headlining another festival.
He added: "I might be doing another festival though."
Fans previously believed Ed had took the final headline spot, when a leaked line up stated the flame-haired hunk would take the main stage on the Sunday June 25.
However, Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis – who manages the acts playing with her father Michael Eavis – quickly dismissed it as "fake news".
Posting on Twitter, she wrote: "Don’t believe everything you read, our line up has not been leaked. The actual line up will be with you soon! (sic)"
Aside from Foo Fighters and Radiohead, grime superstar Wiley also seemed to confirm he would be playing one of the other stages.
He previously tweeted: "Can’t wait for @GlastoFest its gonna be sick. (sic)"
Later, the ‘Wearing My Rolex’ hitmaker – whose real name is Richard Cowie – added: "Come to @GlastoFest with me I need to show you something. (sic)"
Glastonbury takes place from June 21 and June 25.
