Martin Garrix looks to Justin Bieber

Martin Garrix and Justin Bieber look to each other for advice.
The ‘In the Name of Love’ hitmaker – who is currently supporting Justin on the Australian leg of his tour – says the pair have a unique friendship because they are going through similar things.
He said: "We’re both young, both touring on the road a lot and both love music. We can really talk about that.
"He said, ‘You should come with me to Australia, it’s going to be crazy’, and I was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it’. Besides this tour we are also very good friends, we Facetime every now and then. Good times."
However, Martin insists the pair aren’t out partying all the time.
He quipped: "But that’s what I always say and then I end up partying. I really hope to see some more of Australia, do some tourist sights in-between and be able to relax. After this tour I go straight into my own tour and that ends in October.
"I don’t want to exhaust myself in the first two weeks. I want to work on some new music here, be inspired. I’m excited for the shows and to see and meet all these new people."
And the 20-year-old DJ loves the feeling of making others happy with his music.
He shared: "[I love to] make people happy doing what makes me happy. If I see someone smile, it makes me smile.
"So if I see a thousand people in a crowd smile it makes me so happy. It gives me so much adrenaline. After every show I can’t sleep. It’s such an insane feeling."
And the ‘Animals’ hitmaker never "dreamt" of being so successful.
He told The West Australian newspaper: "The crazy thing was … I didn’t even dream of this. Four years ago I was at a festival as a fan and Fatboy Slim was on the main stage and he played one of my songs.
"I was in the crowd and couldn’t move. It was the weirdest thing. I was just standing there [in shock]. I thought my life was made and nothing would ever beat that feeling. Then the next year we got booked on that main stage."
