David Tennant to voice Scrooge McDuck – again

David Tennant will return as Scrooge McDuck for the second series of ‘DuckTales’.
The first installment of the revived ’90s classic cartoon may not have hit television screens in the UK yet but the Disney Channel has already commissioned a second season, meaning the 45-year-old actor will reprise his role as the grumpy billionaire.
Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Programming and General Manager, Disney XD, said: "Fans around the world are eager and we’re looking forward to introducing viewers to the all-new ‘DuckTales’. This early season two order is a testament to the quality work the creative team, led by Matt and Frank, and the cast are delivering."
The show also sees Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan voice Huey, Dewey and Louie, respectively, while Kate Micucci plays Webby Vanderquack; Beck Bennett stars as Launchpad McQuack and Toks Olagundoye voices Mrs. Beakley.
The new family comedy-adventure series will once again take viewers along as Scrooge, his curious and mischief-making grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, the temperamental Donald Duck and their trusty team, Webby Vanderquack, Launchpad McQuack and Mrs. Beakley, embark on high-flying adventures around the world.
And it’s not hard to see why it’s been commissioned for a second installment before it’s even aired in the UK as the bosses have managed to get Matt Youngberg, Francisco Angones and Sean Jimenez on board to lead the star-studded cast to success.
