Sara Bareilles will perform during this year’s "in memoriam" tribute at the Oscars.
The ‘She Used to be Mine’ hitmaker will take to the stage at the prestigious 89th annual ceremony on Sunday (26.02.17) to honour dozens of artists, filmmakers and Hollywood executives who died over the past year.

Announcing Sara’s performance, Oscar producers Mike De Luca and Jennifer Todd said: "Sara’s unique artistry will honour those we’ve lost in our community including familiar faces and those behind the scenes who have enriched the art of moviemaking."
It is not yet known what track the 37-year-old singer will perform, but an extended photo gallery of more than 200 late artists and industry players will be appear on Oscar.com afterwards.
Best Original Song nominees Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Sting, and Lin-Manuel Miranda will also light up the Dolby Theatre with musical performances at the event.
Meanwhile, Sara, who first found fame in 2007 with ‘Love Song,’ is also gearing up to make her Broadway acting debut in ‘Waitress’ next month, for which she composed the music and lyrics.
