The Weeknd to headline Wireless Festival

The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper and Skepta will headline Wireless Festival 2017.
The ‘Starboy’ hitmaker will take to the stage on Sunday 9 July as part of the three-day event held between July 7 and July 9 at London’s Finsbury Park for the annual summer party and urban music’s biggest music event in the UK.
Chance, who recently won three Grammys including Best New Artist and Best Rap album, will also headline on the Saturday and grime superstar Skepta will take to the main stage on Friday July 7.
The line up will also include the likes of Bryson Tiller and Nas for what will be their UK festival exclusive as well as G-Eazy, Rae Sremmurd, Tory Lanez, Young Thug, Sean Paul, Wiley, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Uzi Vert, Tyga and Zara Larsson. Many more acts are to be announced over the coming months.
Last year saw artists such as Chase & Status, Calvin Harris and Craig David take to the stage.
The latter performed a set of his greatest hits and chart-topping tracks from his comeback album ‘Following My Intuition’.
And the festival always has plenty of surprises in store.
Rita Ora made a surprise appearance in 2016.
The ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ hitmaker shocked fans when she joined Krept & Konan on stage to perform their hit single ‘Freak of the Week’.
The 26-year-old star kept her performance so quiet that no one even knew she was backstage waiting to wow the crowds at Finsbury Park.
Elsewhere at the festival, J Cole performed a whole host of tracks from his new album as well as a number of tracks from his debut LP including ‘Work Out’ and ‘Crooked Smile’.
Tickets are on sale now from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/wireless
