Gwen Stefani spent Valentine’s Day ‘in bed’

Gwen Stefani spent Valentine’s Day (14.02.17) "in bed".
The 47-year-old singer – who is in a relationship with country musician Blake Shelton – admitted she wouldn’t be spending the annual romantic holiday with her partner as she would instead be in an "empty hotel room".
Gwen – who has three sons, Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, two, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale – said: "I am going to be in bed. I have no kids here, no nobody here. It’s an empty hotel room. It’s gonna be so awesome. No one’s gonna ask for anything. It’s gonna be silent."
And the ‘Hollaback Girl’ hitmaker also opened up on her tough split from the Bush frontman in 2015, which led her to find solace in the arms of 40-year-old Blake – who at the time had just split from his ex-wife Miranda Lambert – whom she met on the set of US talent competition ‘The Voice’.
She said: "I just think to a few years ago when I was like scraping myself off the floor going, ‘What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? What is happening? Why is this happening? Why is this happening? How can I fix this?’
"I just remember thinking, ‘What is my gift? Why am I here? What is my destiny? What is my talent and how am I going to use that?’ So I turned to music and I wrote a record and I think that that was a choice."
Meanwhile, the ‘Rich Girl’ singer shared some advice for people opting to celebrate Single Awareness Day instead.
Speaking at Revlon’s ‘Love, Life, and Makeup’ event in New York to host and YouTube star Kandee Johnson, Gwen said: "I would say if you could just look at yourself, you’re always gonna find something to be grateful for. If you find gratitude, you’re gonna find peace. I just noticed that about myself."
