Marvin Humes still watches The Voice

Marvin Humes has been watching ‘The Voice’ "every week."
The 31-year-old hunk previously presented the singing competition with his co-host Emma Willis until he was dramatically dropped after ITV bought the rights to the series, which used to be screened on BBC, last year but he is adamant there is no bad blood there and he still tunes in every week to see how his former colleague is getting on.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "Course I’ve been watching ‘The Voice’ every week. Emma’s doing an incredible job. I saw her at the National Television Awards last month. It was nice to catch up there. We always bump into each other."
The former JLS singer is even hoping to arrange a dinner with his wife Rochelle – whom he has three-year-old daughter Alaia – and Emma and her husband Matt once the Saturdays star has given birth to their second child next month.
He explained: "We’re going to meet up for dinner soon with our partners. We’re friends as well, we’ll go out for dinner once the new baby arrives in four weeks."
Although he was no doubt shocked to be given the chop from the show last year, Marvin still thinks the series is "amazing" and is convinced bosses made the right move getting Jennifer Hudson, Gavin Rossdale, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am on board the coaching panel because they give it a different dynamic to previous years.
He said: "Every line up they’ve had different personalities, some more feisty than others, but that’s the great thing about the show every year. This year’s been great I love Jennifer Hudson, she’s brought something to the show. It’s great to have tom back."
As well as getting ready for his new baby, Marvin has been busy working on DJing and has teamed up with Cadbury to offer a group of fans a mixing master class.
The idea stems from recent research that suggests that the type of sounds we listen to not only match how we feel, but also our preference for certain flavours.
Winners will be able to create and mix their own piece of music with one-on-one help from Marvin, based on a particular emotional profile.
