Vanessa White unveils new ‘sexual’ song Good Good

Vanessa White says her new song ‘Good Good’ is about "being honest with your sexuality".
The Saturdays star has unveiled her latest solo track on website The FADER which will be part of her hotly anticipated second solo EP ‘Chapter Two’ which will drop this spring.
Vanessa – who last year released her debut EP ‘Chapter One’ which she followed up with the single ‘Low Key’ featuring hip hop artist Illa J – worked with rising London producer Mkulu on the tune and penned all the lyrics which she happily admits talk about her own sexuality.
She told The FADER: "It’s a song about being honest with your sexuality and going for what you want without holding back and not having to listen to other people’s opinions. I’ve always been that way and most probably always will be. I’m not afraid to be sexual. I think that’s the Scorpio in me. With relationships, people always have something to say but I always prefer to find out for myself rather than listening to others, and the song touches on that."
Vanessa – who is joined in The Saturdays by Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes and Mollie King – hopes her fans will hear the growth in her as a songwriter on ‘Good Good’ and she insists there is "no more sugar coating" on her new music.
She added: "I’ve grown so much as a writer over the last year and I think you can really feel that in ‘Good Good’. In the past I’ve been worried about showing this side of me in my music and have even been scared to be this free in the studio but I’ve learnt the less you care and the more open you are, the more real and relatable the end product is. So no more sugar coating! The ‘Chapter Two’ EP is my most honest music ever. It’s so personal and draws from my own experiences so I can’t wait for everyone to hear this new phase."
Vanessa has been busy working in the studio with a host of in-demand producers and musicians including the likes of PRGRSN, Wizzy Wow, Shakka, Musicman Ty and Snakehips and has also been collaborating with Rob Heppell, Charlotte Rutherford and Stephanie Sian Smith.
