Robert Downey Jr will star in a film adaptation of a Reply All podcast

Robert Downey Junior is set to star in a film adaptation of ‘Reply All’ podcast.
The 51-year-old actor has been selected to feature in a movie directed by Richard Linklater, which will be based on the 86th audio titled ‘Man of the People’ episode on Gimlet Media, which aired on January 19.
According to Variety the production will be based on a true story, and will explore the life of Doctor John Brinkley and his rise to fame as he scammed people by flogging false medicine and carried out transplants on human using goat testicles.
However, Brinkley is being hunted by journalist Doctor Morris Fishbein who is on a mission to take Brinkley down.
Annapurna Pictures is set to join forces with the dark-haired hunk’s own production company Team Downey, who will co-produce alongside Megan Ellison from the American motion picture company and Detour Film production.
Meanwhile, Robert – who is known for playing the role of Iron Man in the action films based on the Marvel Comics – is set to reprise his role for the forthcoming film ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, with the much-anticipated movie set to hit cinema screens in 2018.
Speaking previously, he said: "We have a start date! That’s, you know, when you start shooting.
"So I have yet to be released from my Marvel contract! You heard it here first!"
The Hollywood star has recently wrapped up filming for the forthcoming ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, which will be his eighth performance as the genius billionaire and will see him star opposite Tom Holland.
And the film veteran has recently joined forces with Guy Ritchie to shoot ‘Sherlock Holmes 3’, as he continues his role as the fictional detective alongside his right-hand man John Watson, played by Jude Law, and has admitted working with the director is "off the hook".
He previously said: "I can’t wait. We can do some preliminary stuff. If we could shoot it on Skype we could have done it in a week.
"I know Guy Ritchie loves me as much as I love him – and he damn well should. When we’re making those ‘Sherlock’ movies it is off the hook."
