Rylan Clark-Neal gets new presenting gig

Rylan Clark-Neal will host a Russian doll-themed game show.
The 28-year-old television presenter is set to front ‘Babushka’, which sees contestants put their knowledge to good use as they search through giant Russian dolls in a bid to win a cash prize.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "From his showbiz segment on This Morning to presenting Xtra Factor – Rylan has been a huge hit with ITV viewers.
"Given his energetic and bubbly personality, ITV chiefs think Rylan will be the perfect presenter for this fun new game show. They were thrilled to get him on-board and bosses are now on the hunt for willing participants."
Contestants that take part on the show – which has been commissioned for 20 episodes – will be in a chance of winning the hefty sum if a smaller doll is found within a bigger one. However, if the doll is empty, they will lose all of the money they have accumulated across the show.
And Rylan recently quipped he is glad to be getting his "weekends back" after ‘The Xtra Factor’ was axed.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I think it’s the right time. I think TV is changing and a lot is changing with TV and it definitely is the right time for ‘The Xtra Factor’ to say its goodbyes, and let the main show do what it needs to do and carry on digitally. I’m happy in a weird way about it, plus I get my weekends back."
Meanwhile, Rylan’s former ‘Xtra Factor’ co-presenter Matt Edmondson has already landed himself a new presenting gig on panel show ‘JudgeMENTAL’.
A source said at the time: "Matt is clearly liked and impressed during his time on the ‘Xtra Factor’s last series. Bosses have high hopes for this new panel show and think it will be a hit."
