Millie Bobby Brown joins Godzilla 2

Mille Bobby Brown has reportedly joined the cast of ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’.
According to Variety, the ‘Stranger Things’ star’s character for the monster movie sequel is yet to be revealed, with producers keeping tight-lipped about the casting of the 12-year-old star.
It comes after the film was thrown into chaos after the director announced Gareth Edwards will no longer be doing the follow-up to his 2014 reboot following an amicable split with Warner Bros. and Legendary, Deadline reported.
Bosses went on a mad hunt to find Edwards’ replacement but they aren’t panicking too much as ‘Godzilla 2’ recently shifted release dates to March 22, 2019.
However, it’s believed Edwards had already told Warner Bros. and Legendary about his exit prior to the date change.
The 2014 reboot, which was the 30th ‘Godzilla’ film to be made, saw Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in starring roles.
Meanwhile, Edwards has just finished shooting ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, which will hit cinema screens in December this year, and is now expected to throw all of his attention into some smaller projects, although details on his next gig are being kept under wraps for the time being.
A ‘Godzilla vs King Kong’ movie is also being released on May 29, 2020 but little is known about the flick at present.
As for Millie she is to reprise her role as Eleven in popular the popular Netflix series.
