Lena Dunham’s mother wants her to marry Jimmy Fallon.
The ‘Girls’ star has a "great boyfriend" in Fun. guitarist Jack Antoff but she admitted her mom has always had a secret hope that she would tie the knot with the late night talk show host, though he is already happily settled with wife, Nancy Juvonen and their eight-month-old daughter Winnie Rose.
Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday (18.03.14), Lena joked: "I have a great boyfriend, but my mom said recently ‘I always thought you would marry Jimmy Fallon’, She said it like we had a previous relationship, like you were my first boyfriend but things didn’t work out and she thought we would get back together. Not like I have 50 magazine covers of you in my bathroom."
After Lena’s revelation Jimmy admitted he was feeling "a little embarrassed" by the comments, to which she replied: "I knew this would make you embarrassed."
While there is no prospect of a romance between the pair, the duo did discover a mutual love of 1991 film ‘The Man in the Moon’, which starred Reese Witherspoon, and Lena claims shaped her ideals about relationships.
She gushed: "I don’t even know how to process that right now. That movie formed my entire idea about romance."
