Blake Shelton has been shopping for diamond jewellery for Gwen Stefani.
The 40-year-old singer has sparked speculation he could pop the question to the ‘Make Me Like You’ hitmaker over the festive period as he is said to be in the market for a ring for his lover.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Blake is just as generous when is comes to Gwen. He really loves to spoil her. He won’t say if he’s going to propose or not, but he’s definitely been shopping for diamond jewellery."
There were also rumours the pair could be engaged back in May when Gwen was seen flaunting a diamond piece on her ring finger during her performance at the Wango Tango music festival.
A source said: "As far as the ring is concerned that was worn at Wango Tango, it is not an engagement ring from Blake but it is Gwen’s attempt at giving Blake the hint that he should ask soon because she is more than ready for it to happen".
While the blonde beauty may be hoping for a proposal soon, Gwen understands she could be waiting a while as the pair have busy work schedules.
The source added: "During Wango Tango she didn’t talk to anyone about actually being engaged because she is not yet, but she talked about how things were going great with Blake and how she was looking forward to the future.
"She knows they both have their albums and their tour to worry about, and he has to deal with a few more weeks of The Voice but if he is ready to pop the question she is ready to say yes!"
