Abbey Clancy’s movie dream

Abbey Clancy wants her novel to be made into a film – which she can star in.
The 30-year-old model-and-presenter – who has children Sophia, five, and Liberty, 18, with husband Peter Crouch – released ‘Remember My Name’ earlier this year, and would love to see the tale of a young girl’s rise to stardom on the big screen with her favourite actress Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role.
She said: "I’d love it to be a film. But I’d want to be in it. I’d probably play the mean agent.
"I’ll phone Steven Spielberg and pitch it to him… And I’d want Jennifer Lawrence to play the main character, Jess. She’s a favourite of mine."
Abbey still can’t believe she has written a novel and is stunned whenever she sees it in shops.
She admitted: "I’ve spotted it in shops a few times and it’s really quite mind-blowing. I’m extremely, extremely proud of the book."
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ winner took inspiration from the show’s famous glitterball trophy when it came to designing the artwork for her book.
She said: "It’s cool – really sparkly. One of my high points was winning ‘Strictly’ and having my glitterball trophy, and the story is all about working hard, rising to fame… I just thought it was the perfect visual."
Despite her pride in her career, Abbey thinks her greatest achievement is having a family.
Asked her biggest achievement so far, she told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: "It has to be my kids. I can’t believe I’m a mum to two beautiful girls.
"Sophia is growing up to be a lovely, lovely girl with a great personality and the baby is incredible too. To be honest, I can’t believe I’ve made them."
