Rebecca Ferguson doesn’t "give a s**t" about Zayn Malik.
The 30-year-old singer – who enjoyed a brief romance with the ‘Pillowtalk’ hitmaker when the pair competed on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 – has revealed their short-lived time together is "old news", and although she wishes the star well, she isn’t interested in him anymore.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper about the dark-haired hunk, who is currently dating model Gigi Hadid, the vocalist – who has children Karl, Lillie, and Arabella from past relationships – said: "I hate the way it is always twisted, I genuinely wish him well, but I genuinely couldn’t give a s**t. It’s such old news. That’s my final word and I’ll never speak about it again."
And the ‘I Hope’ vocalist has revealed she is annoyed she is always quizzed about the One Direction band member, yet he is never asked about Rebecca.
She explained: "What annoys me if I’m being really honest is, I’m always being asked about Zayn and I’ve never seen him asked about me."
And the brunette beauty is believed to be dating Bros star Matt Goss, although Rebecca is playing down the rumours.
Rebecca has revealed she is "getting to know" the ‘I Owe You Nothing’ hitmaker better, and has described the singer as a "lovely person" who she has great respect for as an artist.
Speaking about Matt, she said: "I’m speaking to him and getting to know him. Other than that, I haven’t got loads to say. He’s a lovely person and I respect him as an artist."
However, the star has revealed the pair have not put a label on themselves, and she would still class herself as a single woman.
When asked if she would consider herself as single, she said: "Yes, I would."
