Andrew Garfield looking forward to new Spider-Man

Andrew Garfield is "excited" to see ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
The 33-year-old actor previously portrayed the web-slinging superhero and his alter ego Peter Parker in two movies in 2012 and 2014, and "can’t wait" to see the reboot of the franchise, which will see Tom Holland in the lead role.
He said: "I watched [the trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’] and it’s great! I think it looks great. I’m really excited to see it, I can’t wait."
And Andrew is a "big fan" of Tom’s work.
He added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "I’m a big fan of Tom and that character, so I’m just really excited to see it."
The British star can next be seen in the Mel Gibson-directed Hacksaw Ridge, and says the film offers a "new kind of action hero" to viewers.
He said: "It’s a story about a guy who’s a new kind of action hero. He’s a guy that doesn’t want to do harm to his fellow man. He wants to be kind of the most violent nurse that you’ve ever seen. He’s a healer."
Andrew will be hoping to enjoy ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ more than his own experiences in the ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ movies because he recently revealed he was left "heartbroken" by the movies.
He said: "The story and the character were actually not the top of the priority list, ultimately.
"I found that really, really tricky. I signed up to serve the story, and to serve this incredible character that I’ve been dressing as since I was three, and then it gets compromised and it breaks your heart.
"I got heartbroken a little bit to a certain degree."
The star also insisted that despite having years of acting experience, looking back on his time, he believed he may had been too young to play the iconic character.
He added: "There’s something about being that young in that kind of machinery which I think is really dangerous.
"I was still young enough to struggle with the value system, I suppose, of corporate America really, it’s a corporate enterprise mostly."
