DNCE and Fifth Harmony team up for charity single

DNCE and Fifth Harmony have teamed up with several other artists to record a charity single to help the homeless.
The ‘Cake By The Ocean’ hitmakers and the girl group – comprised of Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui – sing on a version of ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ with Rita Ora, Hailee Steinfeld, Charlie Puth, Tinashe and Daya, which they put together after meeting at the Z100 Jingle Ball.
All money raised from the sales of the single, will go to New York poverty fighting organisation, The Robin Hood Foundation.
John Sykes, the President of Entertainment Enterprises at iHeartMedia, said: "The homeless in New York City and across the country are hardest hit during the holiday season and its incredible to see that once again musicians and artists have stepped up to help those less fortunate.
"iHeartMedia is committed to using all of our powerful assets — radio, digital, video, live events and social — in the spirit of giving back to the needy during the holidays."
The all-star group are to perform a version of the song at New York’s Jingle Bell Ball on Friday (09.12.16) at Madison Square Garden.
And it seems DNCE’s Joe Jonas, 27, didn’t recruit his brother and former band mates Nick Jonas, 24, for the festive tune despite Nick saying he is open to collaborating with him.
Asked if he would rule out working with his younger sibling, Nick recently said: "Never count anything out.
"We obviously like each other quite a bit."
