Adele has reportedly threatened to leave America following Donald Trump’s election.
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker’s pal has said the star – who is an avid Hillary Clinton supporter – is "distraught" with the results of the US presidential election and is seriously considering ditching her 6.5 million Hollywood home to return to the UK.
Her pal said: "Adele’s gut reaction was to get out of LA.
"She was so pro-Hillary and was confident the result she favoured would happen."
However, the 28-year-old pop superstar – who has four-year-old son Angelo with her husband Simon Konecki – hasn’t made her mind up yet, and is believed to be weighing up the pros and cons of staying in Los Angeles, where there are better schools and she is not recognised as much by her fans.
Her friend told The Sun newspaper: "Now some time has passed, she realises how great California is, given the schools, lifestyle and weather, and how she’s not disturbed as much as she is in the UK.
"Democrats are also heavily in the majority in California, so she’s surrounded by people of similar beliefs."
It comes after the ‘Make You Feel My Love’ singer announced she is planning on having another child when she finishes her ‘Adele Live’ world tour.
As she closed the US leg of her tour on Monday (21.11.16) in Phoenix, Arizona, she told the audience: "I’ll see ya later, I’ll see ya on the other side. In a couple of years when I’ll be back, you won’t be able to get rid of me. I’m going to go and have a baby."
