Friends cast hated theme song I’ll Be There For You

Jennifer Aniston says the cast of ‘Friends’ hated the theme song ‘I’ll Be There For You’.
The 47-year-old actress – who played the bubbly Rachel Green in the long-running US sitcom – has confessed that she and her co-stars, including Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Courteney Cox, disliked the 1995 classic by The Rembrandts and weren’t keen on playing around in a water fountain in the iconic intro to the programme.
During an appearance on BBC’s ‘The One Show’ on Tuesday evening (22.11.16), she admitted: "No-one was really a big fan of that theme song. I don’t mean to say that. We felt it was a little, I don’t know. Dancing in a fountain felt sort of odd but we did it."
However, the blonde beauty did confess to watching endless reruns of the hit comedy, which run from 1994 to 2004, because she enjoys going on a "nostalgia" trip as she has forgotten half of the episodes they filmed.
She said: "I can’t help [but watch]. "First of all, I’m trying to remember which episode it is. Then, half of the time I’m saying to myself, ‘I don’t remember that’! It’s just that you can get sucked in to the nostalgia of it."
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently admitted she is at a career "crossroads."
She explained: "This is a time when I’m not completely sure what I’m doing. I’m at this sort of crossroads trying to figure out what inspires me deep in my core. What used to make me tick is not necessarily making me tick anymore … The most challenging thing right now is trying to find what it is that makes my heart sing."
