Ore Oduba to step in for Phillip Schofield on This Morning

Ore Oduba is to co-host ‘This Morning’ alongside Holly Willoughby on Thursday (24.11.16).
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star is said to have been given time off from rehearsing for the BBC ballroom and latin show in order to replace Phillip Schofield as a one-off as the 54-year-old silver fox has other commitments.
A source said: "He has agreed with BBC bosses to take some time out from rehearsals to do the show. Everyone is really excited."
The hunky star is thrilled to have been chosen as Phillip’s replacement as he considers the award-winning programme to be "one of TV’s crown jewels".
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I’m really excited to be hosting ‘This Morning’ with Holly.
I’ve watched and loved the show for years. For me, it’s one of TV’s crown jewels.
"I can’t wait to meet the team and huge thanks to Phillip for allowing me to hop into his seat for the day."
The 29-year-old sports presenter was previously a guest on the ITV daytime show and said how much he loved the experience.
After his appearance earlier this month, he wrote on Twitter: "Tried to play it cool on air … Now we’re done can I j just say I love This Morning. Thanks for having me (sic)"
