Alesha Dixon to host Dance Dance Dance

Alesha Dixon is set to host the forthcoming ITV show ‘Dance Dance Dance’.
The former Mis-Teeq singer has reportedly signed up to front the new dancing show, which is filmed in Amsterdam, Netherlands, alongside T4’s Will Best next year.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "This is a huge gig for Alesha and a testament to her gifts. It’s her first major presenting role too."
And, although she won’t be sitting on the panel for this forthcoming project, the 38-year-old beauty certainly has plenty of experience when it comes to groovy moving as she was a judge on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for three years following her win on the show in 2007 and has been a ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ panellist since 2012.
The insider explained: "She’s been a judge on two massive shows, but this is an even bigger deal for her as she’s basically running this alongside Will."
The six-part series, which will be a major competitor for the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, will see celebrities team up with their partner, a friend or a relative as they perform an iconic dance in the hope of impressing the tough-talking judging panel.
The source explained: "The show has an amazing special effects budget and will see the celebs doing routines like Ed Sheeran from his ‘Thinking Out Loud’ video or ‘Jai Ho’ from ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
"There will be five celebs who will probably have a strong dance background pairing up with their partner or mate. All the audience will be familiar with the dances and it’s hoped the show will be a huge hit."
Former Westlife singer Kian Egan and his wife Jodi Albert, who currently plays Debbie Dean in ‘Hollyoaks’, are reportedly the first celebrity couple to sign up to the show.
Bosses are still trying to finalise the contestant line up but it’s thought Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan are holding talks with producers about taking part in the competition.
Ashley Banjo and Kimberly Wyatt – who both worked on Sky 1’s ‘Got to Dance’ from 2009 to 2014 – have already joined the judging panel and bosses of the show, which has had millions spent on it, are on the hunt for another two judges.
