Ed Balls leaves judges speechless on Strictly Come Dancing

Ed Balls left the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judges speechless by performing a salsa to ‘Gangnam Style’ on Saturday night’s (12.11.16) show.
The 49-year-old politician left the BBC One judges – Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell and Craig Revel Horwood – unable to form any sentences to describe his and professional partner Katya Jones’ high-energy performance to the hit track, for which he received a standing ovation from the studio audience.
Head judge Len said: "I don’t think there’s words in the dictionary to describe that.
"There is always a sense of anticipation, far more than any other couple, when you come on stage. It is so entertaining. If you don’t make it to Blackpool, the show will lose a lot of fun."
Whilst Darcey added: "That, without fail, will go down in Strictly history."
Craig is known best for giving critical comments to the contestants but even he couldn’t find the words.
He said simply: "3 letters, darling – O. M. G."
Meanwhile, Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton came back with a fight with a rumba to ‘Ordinary People’ after finding themselves in the bottom two last week.
Bruno told them: "I love the tonality you give through your dance. You have this way of expressing the music through your body. Beautiful, my darlings."
And Ore couldn’t help but get emotional as he admitted he loved being on the show and wanted to get to Blackpool next week.
Judge Robert Rinder showed another side to him this week with a stunning foxtrot to ‘You Make Me Feel So Young’ and a tribute to his grandparents.
Darcey told him and his partner: "You improve each week and I can see the effort and time you take to study. You really stretched yourself. You have done a great great job. You are becoming a real dancer."
And Daisy Lowe kicked off the show with a 70s-themed salsa to ‘Groove Is In The Heart’, with the judges praising her ability to carry on even after a small mistake.
Len shared: "Who better to give us flower power than Daisy. There was a little mistake but you carried on. Well done to you!"
Whilst Bruno added: "What a tasty salsa. I’m sure Mary Berry would approve! I have to point out the difficulty of some of those lifts, which is why you had a little mistake."
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ results will be broadcasted on Sunday evening (13.11.16) on BBC One before the remaining contestants head to the legendary Blackpool ballroom next weekend.
