Robbie Williams’ album ‘anxiety’

Robbie Williams suffered from extreme anxiety whilst making his new album ‘Heavy Entertainment Show’.
The ‘Party Like a Russian’ singer has opened up about how he has spent the last three years stressing out and worrying about his comeback record, which was released on Friday (04.11.16), and how "terrified" he was to share it with the world as he accepts there are millions of people who probably hate his music and think he is a "w*****".
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I get anxiety about the album and it’s not like it started last week.
"I took it into the studio with me for the last three year.
"I’m terrified of releasing it. When I release a video or a song, lots of people are angry anyway.
"There’s a lot of people that like but there’s a lot of people that really hate me.
"I don’t doubt that the truth is there’s a 140 million people going, ‘That Robbie Williams, he’s a w*****!’"
Meanwhile, Robbie recently said he fears he doesn’t "deserve" his BRITs Icon Award.
The ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker – whose 17 past BRIT wins make him the most awarded artist in the history of the ceremony – will pick up the special statuette in recognition of his incredible career at a special event later this month, but he’s concerned his "low self-esteem issues" will prevent him from enjoying the occasion.
He recently said: "It is an honour but what happens is like a mirror going to me, ‘You don’t deserve this’. I will try my best to enjoy the evening but you know I’m a cracked person with low self-esteem issues."
Robbie is only the third recipient of the Icon Award, following in the footsteps of Sir Elton John and the late David Bowie.
Robbie will receive the Icon Award at a special concert in London on November 8, while the main BRIT Awards ceremony will take place on 22 February 2017 at The O2
