Eddie Redmayne’s sleepless nights

Eddie Redmayne’s sleepless nights are "totally worth it" when he sees his daughter’s face.
The ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ star doesn’t mind having to wake up in the early hours to look after his four-month-old daughter Iris as she makes it all worthwhile.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he said: "She is heaven. It’s worth it because, occasionally, there’s that amazing thing where it’s three o’clock in the morning and you go in, and you’re sort of gently furious, and then you get a little smile, and your heart breaks a bit, and it’s totally worth it."
And the 34-year-old actor previously admitted being a father is "extraordinary".
He shared recently: "Well, it’s only seven weeks in, but it’s amazing. It’s wonderful. All of the stuff you’ve heard for years, it’s all true but utterly extraordinary."
Eddie has always wanted to be a "hands-on" father but admitted he was feeling a bit nervous ahead of the birth.
Speaking before he and his wife Hannah Bagshawe welcomed their child into the world, he said: "It’s our first child, so obviously there’s a mixture of emotions. Joy, excitement and a bit of fear. I can’t wait. I’ll be a hands-on dad.
"Having a baby is the perfect ending to what’s been an amazing year. I still pinch myself – every actor thinks about living the Hollywood dream and making it over here is incredible. I’ll always stay grounded and I don’t take anything for granted."
Eddie has got the itch to move around, admitting he’d love to travel for his next role.
He added: "I’m desperate to travel and I keep saying to my wife, ‘Can we go abroad to work?’
"I’ve just finished a film based in New York and we shot it all in Watford. The majority of ‘The Danish Girl’ was shot in Hertfordshire. We’ll see."
