James Arthur wants Honey G to feature on his album

James Arthur wants Honey G to "spit some vibes" on his next album.
The ‘X Factor’ winner – who took the crown in 2012 after being mentored by Nicole Scherzinger – would love the wannabe rapper, who is taking part in the current series, to feature on his next LP as he thinks she’s got some "rhymes" and is "hilarious."
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday (27.10.16), he said: "I’m a Honey G fan. She can spit some vibes on one of my songs, she’s got rhymes for days! She’s gangster, I love her.
"For all we’d like to find credible and amazing multi-platinum selling artists, most of us when we sit down on a Saturday night after a hard week at work the average person wants to be entertained and I think she’s a perfect break from all the other stuff.
"I listened to her on a radio interview yesterday and she’s hilarious as well."
However, not everyone has fallen in love with the ‘X Factor’ contestant – who is being mentored by Sharon Osbourne – as John Legend thinks she’s a "novelty act."
He told BANG Showbiz: "There’s been a lot of conversation about her, I’d heard about her but I hadn’t seen any of the episodes leading up to it. She has attracted a lot of attention, all I told her was try and be the best version of her that you can be.
"To me, I think part of it is about choosing which songs you do and trying to execute the mechanical of being a good rapper, it’s about flow, it’s about how you use your voice, how you communicate to the audience so I tried to be as kind and sensitive as I could be.
"People are obviously getting caught up in the novelty of it. The song she had chosen, I thought, heightened the novelty of her because it was referencing another novelty act, which I thought wasn’t the best idea, so I told her that. What else do you want me to say?!"
