James Lock bets his car and watch

James Lock has slapped down his flash car and expensive watch for a charity bet.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who is known as Lockie on the ITVBe show – has put forward his most prized possessions as part of the Movember campaign, which has launched the East London-based bookmakers MovemBET, because he’s almost certain his healthy lifestyle means he’ll outlive his co-star Dan Edgar.
However, the 27-year-old star wasn’t the only one to risk his motor and lavish jewel as Dan – who also takes his well-being very serious – agreed to put down his car and watch in a bid to encourage men to stop gambling with their health and live a better life.
Speaking about The Movember Foundation, CEO Owen Sharpe said: "Men are more likely to know the weekend’s sporting odds than the odds on their health, and their health is facing a real crisis. Prostate cancer cases are set to double by 2030 and one man takes his own life every minute.
"With MovemBET, we’ve taken over a familiar lads environment and incorporated a hard-hitting message that gets men talking together about a subject that is normally off limits. In doing so we hope to get people taking action and ultimately signing up to take part in Movember to raise funds to help address the health crisis our fathers, brothers, uncles, partners and sons are facing."
MovemBet is open on Wednesday (26.10.16) to start the month-long fundraising campaign, which is set to start in November, focused on improving men’s health.
Join the fight at Movember.com and sign up or donate to help the cause.
