Brie Bella is expecting a baby girl.
The 32-year-old professional wrestler first announced she was expecting her first child with husband Daniel Bryan at the start of this month, and she has now revealed the child will be a girl.
Speaking to E! News, she said: "When I found out it was a girl I actually got really emotional. I have such an amazing relationship with my mom and I think, wow, I’m going to have that with my daughter. Also as a woman I now have my own blood to follow my legacy. It’s such a special feeling! My mini me!"
And Daniel – who is the general manager of TV show ‘SmackDown’ – added: "I’m so excited we’re having a little girl. I’m sure that, just like her mother, she’s going to steal my heart."
The news will come as a pleasant surprise for the star’s sister Nikki, as she previously said she wanted her sister’s baby to be a girl.
Nikki, also 32, said: "I hope it’s a girl and it’s exactly like me!"
The ‘Total Bellas’ stars previously gushed about how excited they were to be expecting a baby together.
Brie said: "It has always been a dream of mine to become a mother. Now that it is finally real, it fills me up with so much happiness. I can’t wait to see my husband, Bryan, be a father to our child. I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives."
Whilst Daniel added: "The day we found out, I just couldn’t stop smiling. We are so excited to be parents. Every time I look at Brie’s stomach, I’m amazed that there is a little life in there."
The pair – who married in 2014 – are expecting their child in the Spring of 2017.
