Freddy Parker voted off The X Factor

Freddy Parker has become the latest contestant to leave ‘The X Factor’.
The 18-year-old singer was voted off the ITV programme after finding himself in the sing-off with Saara Aalto, before the viewers ultimately decided his fate when the judges could not be split.
Freddie – whose mentor was Nicole Scherzinger – was joined by Ryan Lawrie in the bottom three, but the teenager’s rendition of ‘Stay’ by Rihanna was not enough to save him from elimination.
Nicole, unsurprisingly, chose to save her own act, while Sharon Osbourne followed suit, opting to save Saara.
Louis Walsh praised an "incredible" sing-off but eventually decided to save Saara.
That meant Simon Cowell was effectively handed the casting vote,
and he threw his support behind Freddy, saying: "I don’t know what happened to you tonight, maybe it was choosing your own songs, but you were like a different person."
But Simon’s support for Freddy proved to be insufficient and the teenager was sent home via the public vote.
Freddy subsequently admitted he was "devastated" to leave the programme, but also said he was "grateful" to have been given the opportunity to perform on ‘The X Factor’.
