Kevin Connolly and Sabina Gadecki have split.
The ‘Entourage’ actors met while shooting the spin-off movie and romance quickly blossomed, but they have now decided they are better off staying friends.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "They were better off as friends. They tried to make it more and it just didn’t work."
Sabina, 33, previously admitted she found it "intimidating" joining the already-established cast, but Kevin and his co-stars quickly put her at ease.
She said: "It was really intimidating, truthfully, going into it.
"They’re all best friends, but then, it ended up working out awesome. Everyone welcomed me, and director Doug Ellin just really made it feel like home on set for me. It never felt uncomfortable."
However, one scene left her feeling particularly uncomfortable.
She recalled: "I have a little bit of a promiscuous scene when my character is first introduced.
"I’ve never filmed something like that before in my life, so I guess it’s fair to say that’s my memorable/awkward moment."
Asked about the split, a representative for the model-turned-actress simply said: "We don’t comment on our client’s personal lives."
Before dating Sabina, 42-year-old Kevin was in a year-long relationship with Lydia Hearst, who he met through mutual friends via Facebook, but they split in May 2014.
