Cheryl’s divorce is stalled after Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini refuses to sign ‘confidentially agreement’

Cheryl’s divorce has been stalled after her ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini refuses to sign "confidentially agreement".
The 35-year-old restaurateur – who married the ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker in 2014 after three months of dating, but announced they were splitting in January this year – reportedly feels the brunette beauty is trying to "gag" him by forcing him to sign a contract, which will "never" allow him to defend himself against any false claims made about him, according to The Mirror Online.
A friend close to the dark-haired hunk said: "J-B has moved on, it’s been a really tough year for him with his father dying, leaving him the only remaining member of his family.
"Then there is getting divorced and being bound by a confidentially agreement – which means he can never defend himself or clarify any false reports."
And Jean – who lost his father last year – allegedly felt he received no support from his 33-year-old partner during this tragic time, which made him realise the former ‘The X Factor’ judge "wasn’t the girl" he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
The source explained: "He’d [Jean-Bernard] never say anything bad about Cheryl but all with everything alone, she wasn’t the girl for him."
However, Jean-Bernard is busy working on his new restaurant and is desperate for "everybody" to move on with their life.
The close pal of the Frenchman said: "He’s focused on his new restaurant and wants everybody to be able to move on with their life, with whoever that may be."
Meanwhile, Cheryl has certainly done that, and still very much in love with the 23-year-old One Direction band member Liam Payne who she has been dating since February this year, after first locking eyes on one another when he competed on the talent show in 2010.
And Liam believes he has struck gold.
Speaking previously about his relationship with the former Girls Aloud bang member, he said: "[I am] the luckiest man in the world."
