Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell choose X Factor live shows acts

Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell have chosen their acts for the ‘X Factor’ live shows.
The two judges cut their categories from seven to three acts on Saturday’s (01.10.16) episode of the reality TV competition, with a little help from some fellow stars.
Louis was joined in Ibiza by Alesha Dixon and Fleur East as he chose The Brooks, 5AM and Ottavio & Bradley to go through to the live shows but there was disappointment for a number of groups.
Yes Lad, Tom and Lauren, Skarl3t and Four of Diamonds all failed to make the cut at Judges’ Houses and were sent home.
Meanwhile, in Malibu, Simon Cowell was joined by Spice Girls Mel B and Emma Bunton as he welcomed the Girls.
He decided to take Gifty Louise Agyeman, Samantha Lavery and Emily Middlemas through to the live shows.
However, there was disappointment for Soheila Clifford, Olivia Garcia, Kayleigh Marie Morgan and previous favourite Caitlyn Vanbeck, who forgot her words during her performance.
On Sunday’s (02.10.16) episode, Nicole Scherzinger will be joined in France by Calvin Harris as she attempts to choose her final three in the Boys category, while Sharon Osbourne and Robbie Williams will welcome the Overs to Los Angeles.
