Mark Wahlberg always travels with his friends

Mark Wahlberg won’t travel without his friends.
The 45-year-old actor – who has been cast as the heroic Mike Williams in the new movie ‘Deepwater Horizon’, which is based on the 2010 oil-rig explosion in America – has admitted he can’t go anywhere without his close friends by his side, although his pals may get "fired" for a little while but soon return to his clique.
When asked about his travel partners, he said: "Yeah [I travel with my friends]! They may get fired for a short amount of time but they always come back. We’re not the most professional group.
"I have a major issue with adolescent behaviour with my friends."
And the star has revealed his friends are "certainly happy" for him and his successful career at the helm of the film industry, and he has admitted he even tries to share his success with them.
He said: "My real friends are certainly happy for the success I’ve had. But I try to spread and share as much as possible.
"Well, I come from the real world and you’re only as good as the people around you. That’s always been my philosophy. I don’t know if it’s because of my background in sports, but I want the whole team to be good."
Meanwhile, the ‘Entourage’ star – who also co-produced the film and TV show based on his life – has admitted despite owning a "fancy car", he still tries to be a realist and not get to carried away with his fame.
Wahlberg – who has daughters Ella, 13, Grace, six, and sons Brendan, eight, and Michael, ten, with his wife Rhea – explained to the Guardian newspaper: "Look, I live in a big house, I drive a fancy car. But I still feel like I’m going to end up where I came from and as long as I can go there with my head held high and I’m welcomed back with open arms, then I’m OK.
"A lot of things happened and I made a lot of mistakes. But you try to live in the moment and look to the future."
