Louis Walsh wants to do Gogglebox

Louis Walsh wants to take part in ‘Gogglebox’.
The ‘X Factor’ judge thinks he’d have people in hysterics if he took part in the programme, which sees families and groups of friends from around England and Wales reacting to television shows from their own homes, with Sharon Osbourne.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "I’d go on ‘Gogglebox’, I’d be good on ‘Gogglebox’. Can you imagine me with Sharon? We’d be great fun, cursing and shouting, watching [The ‘X Factor’s rival] ‘Strictly’ [Come Dancing]."
The 64-year-old music manager was in the running to join this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ line up after he was dramatically dropped from ‘The X Factor’ judging panel last year.
However, he has since been rehired by big boss Simon Cowell and is adamant he’d "never" take part in the dancing show.
He explained: "I would never do ‘Strictly…’ because I can’t dance. It’s not for me. I wouldn’t do ‘The Voice’, I couldn’t do it, I have sl***ed it off too much and I like doing this show and working with Simon. People don’t understand how well I know him. We’re mischievous, we were on the phone together every day for 15 years when working with Westlife. He’s a one-off."
But, although viewers wanted him back on the panel, Louis has already started to cause carnage as he couldn’t make up his mind which acts he wanted to take through to Judges’ Houses last weekend and kept making last minute changes.
This year, Louis – who has been on the show since 2004 – will mentor the Groups category, while Sharon will take on the Over 25s, Nicole Scherzinger gets the Boys and Simon will do all he can to make a star out of one of the Girls.
