Mark Wahlberg needs a good team around him

Mark Wahlberg insists he’s only as good as the people around him.
The 45-year-old actor has been winning rave reviews for new film ‘Deepwater Horizon’ and there has been talk of an Oscar nomination, but he credits the team he works with for helping him to shine.
He revealed: "Well, I come from the real world and you’re only as good as the people around you. That’s always been my philosophy. I don’t know if it’s because of my background in sports, but I want the whole team to be good."
He also says that he always puts the movie before any individual ambition.
He told the Guardian newspaper: "I just do my thing. I’m thinking about the big picture, not my individual experience as an actor. I’ve seen actors who are like: ‘Oh God, this is my moment,’ and I don’t think it services the movie. You have to put the movie first."
Mark – who has four children with wife Rhea Durham – says it’s important for him to remain grounded as he lives a very luxurious lifestyle.
He said: "Look, I live in a big house, I drive a fancy car. But I still feel like I’m gonna end up where I came from and as long as I can go there with my head held high and I’m welcomed back with open arms, then I’m OK."
Speaking about his friends and whether they’re jealous of him, he added: "I think, my real friends are certainly happy for the success I’ve had. But I try to spread and share as much as possible."
