Ryan Thomas has a new girlfriend.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ hunk – who was known for playing handsome builder Jason Grimshaw in the soap – only split from his partner Lana Martin last week, but it seems he’s wasting no time getting back on the dating scene as he has already been spotted getting cosy with someone else.
The 32-year-old actor set tongues wagging last week when he was seen getting intimate with Topshop worker Brea Taddei at the launch of new hangover cure, HangDr.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘It’s still early days but Ryan and Brea have been on a handful of dates and are really fond of each other.
"He relocated to London after leaving ‘Corrie’ which isn’t ideal for their relationship but he’s regularly in Manchester to see his daughter Scarlett so they are making it work.
"His friends are quite surprised he has moved on from Lana so quickly but he gets on so well with Brea that it’s all just happened very naturally, if a bit suddenly."
And Ryan’s new relationship will no doubt come as a shock to his ex-girlfriend Lana, whom he dated for several months, as he dumped her because he couldn’t deal with the distance.
A source said recently: "Ryan and Lana really tried hard to find time for each other, but they both lead busy lives and became more and more distanced from each other – literally.
"It’s a shame but it’s totally amicable. Lana was there to help him adjust to life after ‘Corrie’. He’ll always be grateful for that."
Ryan previously dated his former co-star Tina O’Brien and they have seven-year-old daughter Scarlett together.
