Jennifer Lawrence: I’m still close to ex Nicholas Hoult

Jennifer Lawrence is still "very close" to her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.
The ‘Hunger Games’ star insists she is still good friends with the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ actor despite the fact they split in 2014 after three years of on/off dating.
She told Yahoo7 Be: "We’re all very close at this point. For me, Michael [Fassbender], James [McAvoy], and Nick [Hoult], it’s our third [X-Men] movie over five or six years, so we’re all so comfortable with each other. On the last film, there were BB gun battles, but on this one, it was slightly tamer."
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old actress previously admitted she can’t help but be attracted to guys who try and "impress" her.
She said: "It’s not a sad thing to be alone. I think what I was trying to get across was that I don’t feel a lack of something not being in a relationship. I don’t feel like there is a hole to be filled … An emotional hole to be filled …
"You know, I’m 25. I’m successful. But I’m a girl. So I’m still always going to be attracted to somebody who impresses me."
And David O. Russell, who directed Jennifer in ‘Joy’, also claimed how the actress’ "power" makes it difficult for her to find a relationship.
He added: "It’s the contradiction. You yourself are powerful, but you want to be with somebody who is also powerful that you can look up to. But to find someone who can do that but also respect your power and not be threatened by it, that takes a very special thing."
