Chloe Grace Moretz regrets giving Kim Kardashian West ‘attention’

Chloe Grace Moretz doesn’t think Kim Kardashian West "deserves" her attention.
The 19-year-old actress got into a war of words with the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star in March when she criticised the 35-year-old beauty for posting a naked selfie, and though she stands by her comments at the time – which advised "setting goals" for young women and teaching them they have more to offer than their bodies – she does regret the row.
Chloe – who spoke at the Democratic National Convention earlier this year – admitted she has learned a lot from presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: "I think I gave my attention to people that didn’t deserve my attention. So in some ways I think I regret giving them the attention, [though] I don’t regret what I said.
"But also I realised that being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful. I learned that from Hillary.
"’It’s great to be feisty,’ those were her exact words. But sometimes the smartest way to get into the psyche of people is to be the quietest person in the room. Let everyone else bicker and throw their words around and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful."
After Kim – who has children North, three, and Saint, eight months, with husband Kanye West – shared her nude selfie earlier this year, Chloe was one of her critics.
The ‘November Criminals’ star tweeted: "@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than … just our bodies.(sic)"
Kim replied: "Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is."
The teenage actress – who recently split from boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham – then got involved in a spat with Kim’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, a few months later.
The ‘Carrie’ actress took to her Twitter account in what many thought was in reference to Kim and Kanye’s high-profile feud with Taylor Swift.
She wrote: "Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what’s ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world.
"Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant. (sic)"
However, Khloe wasn’t impressed with her tweets and decided to get involved.
She posted an extremely explicit image of a mystery woman dressed a skimpy bikini and with her bottom exposed, with a picture of Chloe in a similar bikini next to it.
The 32-year-old reality star wrote: "Is this the a hole you’re referring to @ChloGMoretz??? (sic)"
But Chloe made it clear it wasn’t her in the photo and responded: "@khloekardashian fact check: first photo is me filming my movie Neighbors 2, the second photo is some girl who was wrongfully photographed. (sic)"
The ‘Kick-Ass’ star also posted pictures of herself in the bikini, which proved it wasn’t her.
