Anastacia is dating again.
The 47-year-old singer divorced her husband Wayne Newton in 2010 following a three-year marriage and, although she’s got no desire to tie the knot for a second time, she’s currently enjoying her romance with her new mystery man.
She explained: "I am dating. I don’t want to be specific but I am enjoying it. I wouldn’t marry again but I would totally commit and be someone’s soulmate.
"I’ve done a lot of soul searching and it’s my career that is the love of my life. I’ve spent a long time searching but I’ve had it with me, my whole life."
And, although she’s spent two decades in the limelight, Anastacia – who has battled two bouts of cancer, has an on-going fight with Crohn’s Disease and has a rare heart condition that leaves her with an irregular pulse – has finally let go of her body hang ups.
She explained: "In my 20s, I had the perfect body but I didn’t know what I had because I had so many insecurities. Now I’m in my 40s, I’m way more comfortable even though I have a million more scars! I feel amazingly sexy now."
Meanwhile, the ‘I’m Outta Love’ hitmaker underwent a double mastectomy three years ago and has just signed up to compete on the UK’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ because she wants to find herself.
She told Closer magazine: "My double mastectomy stripped away part of me that I feel I would like to find again. I have always been a fan of this TV show. I did it because I wanted to challenge myself with something that had nothing to do with hospital. I would love to get to the end. The idea of holding the Glitterball Trophy would be a big enough accomplishment after all I have been through."
