Pamela Anderson slams porn

Pamela Anderson has branded porn a "public hazard".
The former Playboy playmate – whose sex tape with then-husband Tommy Lee was stolen in 1995 before being made available for webcast with their agreement – is concerned at how "freely available" graphic sex footage is available and warned the situation is becoming incredibly serious.
In a joint op-ed with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach for the Wall Street Journal, she wrote: "This is a public hazard of unprecedented seriousness given how freely available, anonymously accessible and easily disseminated pornography is nowadays."
The 49-year-old actress – who has sons Brandon, 20, and Dylan, 18, with Tommy – and the Rabbi believe it is too late for legislation to restrict the "Pandora’s box of pornography" but urged people to talk more openly about it and teach their children that accessing such materials is done by "losers".
They wrote: "The march of technology is irreversible and we aren’t so naive as to believe that any kind of imposed regulation could ever reseal the Pandora’s box of pornography.
"What is required is an honest dialogue about what we are witnessing — the true nature and danger of porn — and an honour code to tamp it down in the collective interests of our well-being as individuals, as families and as communities.
"Simply put, we must educate ourselves and our children to understand that porn is for losers — a boring, wasteful and dead-end outlet for people too lazy to reap the ample rewards of healthy sexuality."
The pair wrote the piece in the wake of disgraced politician Anthony Weiner’s latest sexting scandal, in which he was caught sending a raunchy picture in the presence of his four-year-old son.
They wrote: "If anyone still had doubts about the addictive dangers of pornography, Anthony Weiner should have put paid to them with his repeated, self-sabotaging sexting.
"And if anyone still doubted the devastation that porn addiction wreaks on those closest to the addict, behold the now-shattered marriage of Mr. Weiner and Huma Abedin, a breakup that she initiated, reportedly, in shock at the disgraced ex-congressman’s inclusion of their four-year-old son in one lewd photo that he sent to a near-stranger."
