Major Lazer are ‘too old to party’

Major Lazer are "too old to party hard", Diplo has admitted.
The 37-year-old DJ-and-producer says her and his bandmates Jillionaire and Walshy Fire do occasionally have a huge night out but they need to limit their partying because they can’t cope with the hangovers.
Speaking to the new issue of NME magazine, he said: "I might drink a bottle of rum once every six months. Then I can’t drink rum again. We’re too old to party too hard."
The EDM trio have become one of the most successful pop acts in the world since their 2009 debut ‘Guns Don’t Kill People Lazers Do’ and have been riding high in the charts all over the world with their collaboration with Justin Bieber and MO, ‘Cold Water’.
Major Lazer now get the perks that success brings, such as having their own private jet, but Diplo claims having your own plane isn’t as great as you might think.
Diplo – who has also produced tracks for Beyoncé and Madonna – shared: "(Private jets) are pretty lame. It’s always three of us in a car, drinking water. Every once in a while we might meet a girl, but we usually don’t because we have to go to the plane. We’re pretty normal guys, you know?
"When we fly from Burbank to Las Vegas on Southwest Airlines we’ve only had one delay ever. On private jets I’ve had, like, 30 delays. What the f**k is the point?"
