The Vaccines to finish album in 2017

The Vaccines have nearly completed their new album.
The ‘If You Wanna’ hitmakers – fronted by Justin Young – are in the final stages of their follow-up to 2015’s ‘English Graffiti’ and plan on getting into the studio early next year to record the songs they have ready.
Justin told DIY magazine: "We’ve got like twenty songs – I don’t know how many of them are gonna end up being Vaccines songs. I think we’ll just record in the new year and see what happens."
The news comes after the departure of their drummer Pete Robertson.
The sticksman decided to leave the indie rock group, which he has been a member of since they formed in 2010, to seek out "new challenges".
In a statement posted on the ‘If You Wanna’ hitmakers’ official Facebook page, he said: "After much thought and deliberation I have decided the time is right to end my time as a Vaccine. The last six years have been the most incredible years of my life and I will never forget them. I’ve seen and experienced more in these years than I’d have any right to expect from a lifetime.
"The experiences I’ve shared with Justin, Freddie and Arni have bonded us together like brothers and that’s a bond that’ll never break. But new challenges beckon and I look forward to the next chapter of my life with excitement. Thanks to everyone who’s come on the journey with us so far, and to my brothers for supporting me in this decision."
Justin recently teased their fourth record will once again be a new direction for them and a step up.
He said: "There’s always been an ambition with this band to be better every time we make a new record and push ourselves.
Nobody could accuse us of making the same record twice."
